Weather you play poker just starting out or full time it’s the interaction with other people that make it all the more fun.
These days you have both the internet for free and real money games and tournaments at the local clubs and pubs.
I personally play a bit of both, though mostly put at least 6 days into playing at the local venues in town. I mostly play APL (Australian Poker League) with around 80 to 130 players at a time, therefore if you manage to make it to the final table you usually spend around 3 to 4 hrs just to get the status of “I did it”.
It can be fun and rewarding and as you are intermingling with people which helps you learn the finer art of both playing the game and the reading of peoples tells.
I have read and watched many books and videos as there is a jungle of information on the subject as I’m sure most people are aware of with so much stuff on the internet both in marketing tools to suck you in or information that really isn’t good information at all.
I have found a few good sites that do offer great recourse’s for online as well as in person games.
Come join me as we search through the mayhem to sort out the good from the rubbish.
